Alien: Isolation is a survival horror game that was originally released back in 2014. It is set 15 years after the events of the original 1979 film Alien and follows engineer Amanda Ripley, daughter of Alien protagonist Ellen Ripley, as she investigates the disappearance of her mother.
Alien: Isolation has a strong focus on stealth and survival horror as the player has to avoid and outsmart a Xenomorph. The game went on to win 13 awards including Best Horror Game and Best Audio, among others.
Alien: Isolation currently has an 81% score on Metacritic and a 92% positive rating on Steam. This is a great horror game, and for $2, you can’t really go wrong. It is only on offer until Friday, and you can check it out by clicking the link here.
