Earlier today, Senna’s abilities were revealed in a short gameplay clip posted on Twitter by @LeagueofLegends. There are no explanations for the abilities, only a UI indicating which ability she is using.

Passive: Souls to Collect
We don’t see her passive until the very end of the video. After the fight, 3 ghosts appear that have health bars. They pop out of Kalista, Thresh, and an enemy minion. Senna goes and picks them up. She can pick them up from a distance but doesn’t auto attack them despite the spirits having a health bar. My assumption is that her passive works like Thresh’s, where she stacks a stat by collecting souls from dying enemies. The health bar on the souls leads me to believe the opponent may be able to stop her from collecting them by killing the soul first.
Q: The Skill Shot
Her Q looked like an AOE skill shot similar to Xereth’s except that it had no charge time. It will likely function as her main poke ability. There appears to be a slight channel time before the ability hits an area in a thick line, so there’ll be plenty of time to dodge.
W: Every Support Needs Crowd Control
The W, used about 5 seconds into the clip, seemed to be another skill shot that did a slight amount of damage to the Thresh and placed an effect on him. After a while, the Thresh was stunned in place. Whether that was because of a timed delay between hitting the W and the stun occurring or because Lucian dealt damage to Thresh while he had the W effect on him is difficult to tell.
E: Everyone’s a Ghost
E was the first ability used in the video and the most complex-looking. She entered a ghostly form that created a fog around her. When Lucian was in this fog it looked like he had an invisibility effect. After leaving the fog, he still had some kind of effect that left a trail behind him. It didn’t look like he was fully invisible after leaving the fog, but he didn’t seem to be completely visible either. My assumption is that teammates can enter Senna’s fog and leave as spirit type figures that prevent the enemy from seeing who you are, so if your whole team has that effect, the opponents won’t know who to target.
R: Damage and Shields the Size of a Lane
Senna’s ultimate was massive. She covered the entire lane in an AOE skill shot. Thresh and Kalista were standing in the middle of the ability and both took damage while Lucian received a shield. Based on the visual effect and how broken the ability would be if it actually dealt damage in an area as wide and a lane instantly, the ability likely deals damage at the center and shields allies within the entire area. This ability is the most similar to the one featured in the animated trailer that Riot released a while back.
Two weeks before her release patch, we should see her on the PBE and have full explanations of Senna’s revealed abilities provided by Riot.
