Alliance Sign Xms On a 3 Month Trial

Swedish organisation Alliance has unveiled today that Alexandre ‘xms’ Forté will be the French player completing its VALORANT squad, taking over the spot of Vilius ‘krea6oN’ Malinauskas for a 3-month trial.

Even though the team managed to qualify for the prestigious VCT: Masters 1 Europe tournament, which will gather 16 of the strongest teams in the region, the organisation would soon announce the departure of krea6oN.

Since then, a mysterious player under the moniker of ‘NBkennyS’ has practised with the team, drawing hype from the recent releases of CS:GO pros Nathan ‘NBK’ Schmitt and Kenny ‘KennyS’ Schrub.

With KennyS dropped out of G2, some were quick to take these rumours as confirmation of the prominent AWP player moving to VALORANT. Even Alliance was quick to capitalize on this hype through their social media presence, adding fuel to the fire.

This Wednesday, the organisation has finally revealed the face behind ‘NbkennyS’ as none other than former Team Finest player Alexandre ‘xms’ Forté. While the 23-year-old has played for some of the iconic organisations that featured NBK and KennyS during his time in Counter-Strike, the French player retired in late 2020 to move to Riot Games’ shooter.

Now playing for Alliance, xms had previously found a home on VALORANT in Israeli esports organisation Team Finest, which he will leave after a one month stint.

His first game for the team will be this Friday, in a high stakes environment, as Alliance are bound to begin their campaign at the VALORANT Champions Tour: Masters 1, an event featuring the likes of Team Heretics, FunPlus Phoenix and Ninjas in Pyjamas.
