During the EA Play event it was revealed that Apex Legends will be coming to both the Nintendo Switch and Steam later this year. In addition to that, the game will also become fully cross-platform, allowing players from any platform to play with each other. It was also recently revealed that Apex Legends will be making its way to the upcoming Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X consoles later this year when they launch.
By the end of 2020 Apex Legends should be available on Origin, Steam, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PS5 and Xbox Series X, meaning that players have more opportunity than ever to jump into Apex Legends and experience it themselves. And regardless of what your friends favorite platform is, you can play with them.
There is no announced release date yet for the upcoming ports, but it would make sense to launch them when the next gen consoles are released too, so likely November 2020.
