This season is going to be the biggest one yet! It brings a new Champion to the table, a new limited-time event, changes to the map, and more!
Perhaps the biggest news is the introduction of Loba, the newest Champion arriving through Apex Legends’ seasonal updates. She’s a master thief hell-bent on revenge against Revenant. It’s an excellent addition to Apex’s ever-growing lore and one that helps to bring more depth to Revenant’s mysterious character. Loba was initially shown in the Assimilation Launch Trailer last season but now features in her own Stories from the Outlands, Legacy of a Thief. For more on that reveal, check all that out here.

What Else Is Coming To Apex Legends Season 5?
In addition to this, Season 5 features a new PvE Quest. Fortune’s Favour, Loba’s Quest for the Broken Ghost, has players searching King’s Canyon for clues. There have also been map changes that some may find truly heartbreaking. This is all wrapped up in a brand-new Battle Pass. This will feature a whole host of new cosmetic items to discover! When Will The Update Drop?
Despite the developing global situation, EA and Respawn have not announced any changes to their update scheduling. Thankfully, this means we can have an educated guess at when the update will be dropping. Chances are, it’ll drop between 18:00 and 20:00 GMT. That means it’ll drop between 14:00 and 16:00 EST, and 23:00 and 01:00 PST.
