The Zealots are some of the most powerful foes in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and their locations can find them dotted all around Viking England. There are 15 of them in total and you must defeat all of them plus their enforcers, the Order of Ancients, to find out who the Grand Maegester is.
Due to them being all over the land, the Zealots aren’t necessarily the easiest to find. This guide will show you all the Zealots and their locations through Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Zealot locations
Suggested Power: 90 Location: Lincolnscire border
Cola doesn’t tend to stick to just one region. Players have found him in Eurviscire, Ledecestrescire and Lincolnscire. If you’re in a rush to find him, look around the areas of Sudwella Monastery or the west of Lincoln, you’re bound to come across him on one of his patrols.
Suggested Power: 90 Location: Oxenefordscire
Cudberct’s patrol takes him along the eastern and southern roads of Oxenefordscire, close to the borders of Lunden, Suthsexe and Hamtunscire. Wander the main roads in those areas to find this fighter.
Suggested Power: 90 Location: Grantebridgescire
Eorforwine has a fairly small route compared to other Zealots, making her that much easier to find. Head towards Utbech, with can be found across the river to the north of Grantebridge. Nearby will be a small forest area where Eorforwine is roaming. The world event ‘Degolas the Beautiful’ is also close to her patrol if you’re struggling to locate her.
Suggested Power: 90 Location: Grantebridgescire.
Kendall is likely to be one of the first Zealots you come across in-game. She patrols close to the location of story mission ‘Unholy Father’, which is situated near Walden in the south of Grantebridgescire.
Suggested Power: 90 Location: Ledecestrescire
You won’t find Redwalda away from her post in Venonis, a roman ruin lying along the river in southern Ledecestrescire. She’s often carting about the ruin on her horse. If you keep an eye on her patrol, you might be able to ambush her to give yourself a good head start in defeating this Zealot.
Suggested Power: 130 Location: Oxenefordscire
This Zealot wanders around on foot so it might be a little difficult to locate him. One of his most popular spawning spots is in the north of Oxenefordshire, close to the Grantebridgescire border.
Suggested Power: 130 Location: Sciropescire
Wealdmaer can become quite easy to come across, considering he patrols near the town of Quatford, where a lot of the Sciropescire arc missions are staged. His route leads him towards the area of Wenlocan Abbey, if you don’t catch him near Quatford.
Suggested Power: 160 Location: East Anglia
Wuffa can be found traveling all around East Anglia. Just keep journeying around the area and I’m sure you’ll come across her, or maybe she’ll come across you first. If you’re struggling, keep an eye out in the Berkelow Bog area.
Suggested Power: 220 Location: Lincolnscire
Osgar can typically be found in the southern area of Lincolnscire. He’s popped up close to Medeshamstede Abbey and the roads near Cruwland.
Suggested Power: 220 Location: Cent
Woden is another Zealot that just takes their time, leisurely traveling around the area of Cent. If you’re having difficulty, head to the Beamsfield area, he walks close by on his travels.
Suggested Power: 250 Location: Essexe
Another Zealot, another wanderer. This time in the land of Essexe. One of his favored haunts is the Epinga Forest, not too far away from the city of Colcestre.
Suggested Power: 280 Location: Glowcestrescire
Beorhtsige sticks to the main roads in the western part of Glowecestrescire. Head to the forest and keep an eye out for him patrolling around.
Suggested Power: 280 Location: Eurvicscire
Callin can be found out in the isolated areas of Eurvicscire. Head eastern from Jorvik, close to where the Rodestan Monolith is.
Suggested Power: 280 Location: Suthexe
Hrothgar seems to be one of the hardest Zealots in the game to come across. He is located in Suthexe but it can take many times of just wandering around the area, waiting for him to spawn. I found him near Crawleah in the southeast, but he can be as far across to the west as Fearnhamme, bordering Hamtunscire if you just leave him be to carry on with his patrol.
Suggested Power: 340 Location: Hamtunscire
Bercthun is often the last Zealot you’ll come across, not just because he’s in Hamtunscire but also because of his huge power ranking. So, you wouldn’t want to fight this brut too early. He wanders the area on foot, on the roads close to the west of Wincestre.
Need extra help finding the Zealots?
If you’re struggling to find the Zealots, there is a way to make them come to you. During the Ledecestrescire arc mission titled ‘Heavy is the Head’, Eivor finds themselves coming to blows with Leofrith, a thegn to King Burgred of Mercia. Once the fight is over, Eivor will be given the choice to kill or spare Leofrith.
If you spare Leofrith, he will tell you that he left a scroll in Venonis with Eivor’s name on it so all the Zealots will hunt them, triggering the mission ‘Hunted’. If you burn the scroll, no Zealots will come for Eivor. However, the mission is time-sensitive and if the scroll isn’t burnt before the next dawn, the Zealots will now actively hunt Eivor.
The Zealots will also hunt Eivor if you choose to kill Leofrith.
While this makes finding the Zealot’s a lot easier, it can make the overall gameplay harder as the Zealots will randomly pop up throughout the game.
So, there you have it, the complete guide to the Zealot’s location in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Happy hunting, or even happy being the hunted.
