The recent Playstation 5 reveal event was full of so many new games such as Gran Turismo 7, Resident Evil 8, Kena & many more. One game that was also shown off was Astro’s Playroom, a 3D platformer where the player will explore four worlds, each based off a PS5 component.
It has been confirmed that Astro’s Playroom will come pre-loaded on all Playstation 5 consoles. While it isn’t a highly sought after game like Horizon Forbidden West or Gran Turismo 7, the game will serve as a fun little tech demo to show what the PS5 can do.
There is still no news as to which games will be available at launch, but it is safe to say that many of the current gen competitive games such as Fortnite, Warzone, Destiny 2 & Rainbow Six Siege will be available at launch so current players can seamlessly continue their gameplay on the PS5 rather than having to switch between platforms.
We are also waiting to hear the official launch date and price, but the console is scheduled to release sometime around Fall 2020, likely October or November.
