During their recent War Table update, we got a new announcement from the team behind Marvel’s Avengers: Kate Bishop is coming as a playable character in the game’s first Post-Launch content addition!
You may not know who Kate Bishop is right now, but she’s a pretty big part of the Marvel Universe. First introduced in Young Avengers #1 in 2005, Kate Bishop is Clint Barton’s apprentice, of sorts. However, for a lot of her early appearances, she was simply known as Hawkeye.
She shares Clint’s taste in humour and confidence and is a fine addition to any heroic roster. More recently, she had taken leadership of the West Coast Avengers (with the help of Clint, of course!)
Now, alongside Clint Barton, Kate Bishop has been announced as an upcoming playable character for Marvel’s Avengers. Kate Bishop and Clint Barton join Spider-Man, for PlayStation 4 players, as the three DLC characters announced so far!
Marvel’s Avengers: Kate Bishop Taking A.I.M.
In the video above, we get an insight into what we can expect to see from the first post-launch content drop for the newly-released Avengers game.
In the trailer, we join Kate and the Avengers lineup as she delivers news on what Clint Barton is up to. It’s safe to say that it isn’t good. We see him working with A.I.M., but it’s unclear what he’s actually doing. However, there’s a little glance before he disappears which would suggest that it’s all part of some poorly-conceived plan… Classic Hawkeye! Below, you can see more details about the “double bill” feature Avengers fans will get with Kate Bishop and Clint Barton’s storylines!
