COD Warzone 2 Best Drop Spots Al Mazrah Map

Warzone 2 is introducing a completely new map, Al Mazrah. From what we’ve seen so far, it seems like it’s going to be another great one. But, with a new map, comes the challenge of finding your favorite spot to drop at the start of a match. Here are the best drop spots in Al Mazrah.

Al Mazrah – Everything You Need to Know

Al Mazrah is a great starting point for Warzone 2. It’s a map that has got everything. From towers, to mountains and even an airport, Al Mazrah has got everything.

In terms of gameplay objectives, though, it’s a little different from what we’ve seen before. Similar to other games like Fortnite or Apex, Warzone 2 is introducing some big landmarks like Strongholds that require you to fight AI enemies in order to get really good loot.

Here are all the landmarks you can find in Al Mazrah:

  • Ammo Caches – Scattered throughout the map, you can resupply ammo here infinitely.
  • Banks of Adal – Set locations, a good vantage point on rooftops, you can find a lot of money.
  • Black Sites – Set locations, strongholds with AI enemies that need to be cleared, legendary weapons, and a permanent blueprint.
  • Burger Town – Set locations, good for hiding or holding ground.
  • Comms Towers – Set locations, excellent view of the map.
  • Fire Stations – Set locations, excellent view of the map because they have towers, might find armor.
  • Gas Stations (Land/Water) – Set locations, filling fuel or repairing vehicles.
  • Grocery Markets – Set locations, an excellent source of consumables.
  • Police Stations – Set locations, might find good weapons.
  • Medical Centers – Set locations, medical supplies source.

Al Mazrah is split into six sectors, each with its good and not-so-good locations.

The Best Drop Spots in Al Mazrah

As with any battle royale, the best spots in Al Mazrah will always be highly contested. That being said, there are plenty to choose from in each sector, so keep trying if you don’t manage to land there from the first try.

As we know, the best drop spots in Al Mazrah are the most balanced ones. Here are our favorite ones – with one from each sector.

Best Spot From Sector 1 – Taraq Village (1B)

Taraq Village is a classic village-style location that is found in almost every BR game. However, what sets it apart from the other locations in S1 is the low height of the buildings, making it easy to have battles at the start and eliminate some of your opponents. It is also close to Sector 2, making it easy for you to transition there.

Zone 1 is quite poor in terms of landmarks and important locations, and the loot in 1B might be the best you can get.

Best Spot From Sector 2 – East Suburbs (2H)

Sector 2 is the biggest on the entire map, with the most landmarks and probably the best loot. In this sector, you can find all landmarks that are present in the game. This is probably going to be where most players are dropping. With that in mind, the East Suburbs is the best location because it holds a tower, a hospital, and a store, so you can get stocked up on consumables and medicals and see where the action is.

It’s also very close to the river, making it really easy for you to take the naval route towards the rest of Sector 2 and take your enemies on prepared.

Best Spot From Sector 3 – Hafid Port (3B)

Although it has only three zones, Sector 3 is quite rich with landmarks. This is why the best course of action here is to land at the Hafid Port. You might have to battle your way through it, but, if you emerge victorious, you have easy access to the stronghold from 3C or tend to your wounds at the hospital.

Additionally, you have guaranteed boats spawning at the port, so you can go up the river and into other zones.

Best Spot From Sector 4 – Ahkdar Village (4D)

Sector 4 is a little weird. It has very few landmarks, except for zone 4D, where there are a lot. Let’s face it, this is the playground of the bloodthirsty. This will be one of the most hotly contested zones in the game.

If you want to land in Sector 4, your only viable option is Ahkdar Village, but be prepared to fight. All landmarks are close together. Emerge victorious and you probably have unrivaled loot.

Best Spot From Sector 5 – Sawah Village (5B)

Since sector 5 has only two zones, and one of them is a cemetery with no landmarks, it’s easy to choose the best one. Although Sawah Village is smaller than most other spots, it still has quite a lot of landmarks. Also, being in the corner of the map means it will not be so hotly contested as the other zones.

It may mean you have easy access to loot, supplies, and also a stronghold.

Best Spot From Sector 6 – Sarrif Bay (6A)

You may think that the best spot to land in sector 6 is the airport, but you’d be wrong. The airport and the fortress each have minor landmarks to fight for. Sarrif Bay, on the other hand, has five landmarks to choose from, including a tower and a stronghold.

It’s home to a marine gas station, so you can either go to the other landmarks or flee to other zones if you’re in need.
