Season 3 of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is here, and with it comes a brand new sniper, the Swiss K31. It’s a small sniper rifle that’s very quick to handle, making it a great option for quickscoping. Here is the Black Ops: Cold War best Swiss K31 loadout to have you taking down squads with this lightweight sniper rifle.

Before you can make a loadout for the Swiss K31, you have to unlock the weapon. Once you do that, level it up a bit by playing a few matches, and then you’re ready to move on.

The compact design of the Swiss K31 makes it much more versatile than other weapons in its class. It’s great for the players who enjoy quickscoping and being aggressive while still wielding a sniper. The drawbacks to the Swiss K31 lie in its low damage and accuracy, and those are the areas that we’ll be looking to improve with some carefully chosen attachments.

Attachments

  • Barrel – 24.9″ Tiger Team
  • Body – Tiger Team Spotlight
  • Stock – Raider Stock
  • Magazine – 8 Round Mag
  • Handle – Airborne Elastic Wrap

So let’s break down these attachments and why they add a lot of value to your loadout.

24.9″ Tiger Team

The shortcomings of the Swiss K31 are immediately mitigated with the 24.9″ Tiger Team barrel. It increases damage, boosts the effective range, and also increases bullet velocity. This barrel will allow you to kill full-health enemies with a single bullet to the chest or head.

The one downside to this attachment is that it lowers the ammo capacity, but we’ll fix that issue in just a moment.

Tiger Team Spotlight

The Tiger Team Spotlight body will allow you to see enemies from further distances. It helps out with the shorter range that this sniper has to offer when compared to the others, but it can also be replaced with something in the underbarrel slot if it doesn’t catch your eye.

Raider Stock

The Raider Stock is going to greatly increase the sprint to fire time, as well as the aim walking movement speed. The downside to running this stock is the worsened hip fire accuracy, but with the extremely fast aim down sight speed, you won’t need to be no-scoping with this class anyway.

8 Round Mag

The magazine attachment slot has a few good choices. We recommend the 8 Round Magazine because with the Tiger Team barrel, it will put you at that sweet spot of 6 bullets per magazine without majorly affecting any other statistics.

The Salvo 9 Round Fast Mag is another good choice to try as long as you don’t mind a 10% slower aim down sight time.

Airborne Elastic Wrap

The Airborne Elastic Wrap is the only choice when it comes to the handle slot. When paired with the Raider Stock, you will be flying around the map with the ability to react much faster. The combination of the two attachments make this sniper the ultimate rifle for quickscoping.

Equipment

Unlike the other snipers, the Swiss K31 is all about speed and versatility on the map. Since you’ll probably be playing aggressively with this weapon in your hands, it would be best to use equipment that compliments that playstyle.

When it comes to your lethal equipment, use either the C4 or the semtex grenade. They’re fast to deploy and are great for tossing into a doorway to slow down an enemy push or to weaken the enemy and give you the health advantage.

As for your tactical equipment, the stim shot would be a great choice. Being able to quickly stim back to full health when you’re damaged is extremely useful, and when you’re running around with a sniper, having a few extra points of health can give you a couple of spare moments to hit your shot.

Perks

Perks are going to vary based on playstyle, but if you’re not sure what to use, definitely give this combination a try.

  • Perk 1 – Flack Jacket
  • Perk 2 – Assassin
  • Perk 3 – Ghost

With this fast sniper rifle, you’re going to be in the middle of the battle quite often. Running Flack Jacker or Tactical Mask will help you handle enemy projectiles. The Assassin perk will allow you to gain extra score toward your streaks by getting kills. For the final perk, Ghost will keep you off of the enemy mini map as you run and gun with your sniper.

So get out there, give this loadout a try for the new Swiss K31 in Black Ops Cold War, and secure that victory.
