Amongst additional Multiplayer Maps, New Weapons, and a New Zombies mode… We’re also going to be getting Nuketown ’84 as the first free map for Black Ops Cold War.
Please note, Nuketown ’84 is only coming to Black Ops Cold War whereas other content will also be coming to Warzone too.
Nuketown originally featured in Black Ops. It’s a relatively small map that is based on a mock American Town which is used for Nuclear Warhead testing. Sort of like that one scene in Indiana Jones where he hides in a Fridge and somehow survives.
The layout of the map has stayed almost identical over the years, so fans will be able to jump straight into Nuketown ’84 with little issue.
Nuketown variants include Nuketown 2025 and Nuketown Zombies, on Black Ops II, Nuk3town, on Black Ops III, and Nuketown Island, in Black Ops IIII’s Blackout.
Official Statement on Season One
