With changes moving to thursdays, here’s everything we know about the upcoming Playlist Update for Black Ops Cold War.
You might have noticed that every now-and-then there’s a new game mode on Call of Duty. Although the core playlists like Team Deathmatch and Domination live relatively undisturbed, Call of Duty developers are always testing new ways to change up the formulaic gameplay of the popular FPS title.
These Playlist Updates will now be coming every Thursday, at least that will be the case for Black Ops Cold War. This isn’t to say multiplayer playlist won’t be available for more than a week, as this sometimes happens, but if it’s Wednesday and you’re tearing it up on Nuketown 24/7… It might be gone the day after.

The following list will be updated as soon as new information is made available.
Black Ops Cold War Playlist Update
07/01/21 Playlist Update
The first playlist update of 2021 adds the following Playlists to Black Ops Cold War:
- Raid + Crossroads Strike 24/7;
Although these two maps aren’t as small as Nuketown, Crossroads Strike is a popular pick amongst fans and offers great sight-lines with tight clustered buildings. This makes it a make-or-break map for your Elims/Death ratio. Raid, the popular remake, is one of the game’s newer maps and has a largely unchanged layout.
- Gunfight Blueprints;
Black Ops Cold War‘s 2v2 mode will now feature a variety of existing weapon blueprints, rather than the base version of the weapons.
- Dirty Bomb Duos
Fireteam: Dirty Bomb, the larger-scale mode that features vehicular combat and armour plates, will now have a Duos mode. Previously, it was limited to Quads.
