Here’s what Treyarch have to say about this new Melee Weapon…

‘ Derived from the word ‘”slaegan'” meaning ” to strike violently”. Distributes a large amount of force over a small area and repurposed to demolish your enemies instead of dry wall.’

The unlock challenge for the Sledgehammer in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone is as follows…

” Using the Combat Knife, kill 2 or more players rapidly in 15 different matches.”

It’s a lot of melee kills, right? With the Knife being a one-hit kill, playing on Hardcore won’t make this any easier unfortunately.

However, attempting to do this on Free-For-All or a Nuketown-based playlist will give you an edge. Get it? No?

Black Ops Cold War Season One introduces new weapons alongside a new Operator, Stitch, a revamped version of the multiplayer map Raid, and more! Be sure to check out the Call of Duty page for more articles like this Black Ops Cold War Sledgehammer Unlock Challenge piece.
