Bloodstained free DLC packs being added to celebrate more than a million sales. A Content roadmap also coming from 505 Games. Chroma Wheel, Boss Revenge Mode, and more coming in 2020.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has passed a million sales, and 505 Games aren’t stopping there. This milestone is being celebrated in two very important ways. Below, Koji Igarashi has released a video thanking people for their support. He has also pledged to release more content for the title, which the roadmap seems to confirm.

  • Bloodstained Free DLC Includes Chroma Wheel
    • The two DLC packs will be available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC players on June 23. Switch players will be able to get it a bit later, in July.

Bloodstained Free DLC Includes Chroma Wheel

Firstly, Bloodstained is receiving a new game mode. The Boss Revenge Mode battle arena will allow players to come up against old enemies with relative ease. Then you’ll be able to get your hands on the Chroma Wheel. This will offer you more options in character customisation.

Bloodstained Content Roadmap Revealed

Everyone loves a content roadmap. Even though developers might not be able to stick to it, very rarely do they not deliver eventually. That means Bloodstained players have a lot of good stuff to look forward to.

Lots to look forward to in 2020!

Q2 highlights what players can look forward to in June, so Q3 is where you need to be looking. Chaos Mode, VS Mode and Classic Mode are all coming in Q3. This is alongside special crossover content, which could mean anything.

Another instance of special crossover content is coming in Q4 alongside a mysterious new playable character. For the rest of 2020, at least, it seems Bloodstained will be worth investing more time in!
