Brawlhalla Released On Mobile

Ubisoft’s hugely popular 2D Smash Bros style game, Brawlhalla, has been released on Google Play and iOS. Brawlhalla is a free-to-play fighter which has found itself on most current platforms such as PC, PS4/Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Now it is finally coming to mobile platforms, too.

The mobile port comes loaded with all of the content that the other platforms have, including the base game and every update since. This port will also have 8 rotating characters that players can use every week, and players can unlock characters to use permanently using in-game credits or real money. Brawlhalla also features a Battle Pass each season where players can unlock cosmetics. It is a true port of the console & PC version rather than being a stripped back version, meaning players can jump in and even take part in the popular competitive scene and tournaments.

Unfortunately, for existing players, cross progression isn’t implemented into the game, meaning existing players can’t jump into the mobile port without starting all over again. However, cross platform play is in the game, meaning mobile players can play with anyone on any platform.

Ubisoft have also made sure that the game is accessible to as many players as possible by allowing controller support. Being a fast-paced fighter it will probably be much easier for most people to just use a controller.

If you get really into Brawlhalla, it even has its own Esports league that you can try out. Currently, there is the Brawlhalla World Tour 2020, with months of online qualifiers, finishing in October, before the final of the tournament at Dreamhack, which has a $150,000 prize pool.

The game has also had numerous crossovers, giving fans the opportunity to add some fun skins to their characters, including Rayman, Tomb Raider, Ben 10 and even WWE.
