The time is closing in until the Major III of the Call of Duty League (CDL 2021)! It’s about time to review the standings, brackets and mark down the dates and times of the upcoming games.
Before we dive into the details of the upcoming action, let’s take a step back and take a look at the overall team standings in the League. If you are not familiar with the scene, it is a great opportunity to find the dominant force and if you are it is a nice revision after all.
To start with that dominant force – Atlanta Faze is leading the board with 265 points, the difference between Faze and Dallas Empire which is in the second position is 55 points. That difference of 55 points is the biggest one between the 2 neighbouring teams on the standing board.
From the second place down everything looks pretty tight, with differences on average of 10-20 points. And that tells me that the whole action is going to be right there.
With that out of the line, I present you the bracket for the CDL 2021 Major III! The bracket is a double-elimination format with winners and elimination (losers) brackets, all pretty standard. We have 2 rounds in the winners and 4 rounds in the losers brackets that will all lead to the grand final in the end!
Teams are ready, $500,000 is at stake the only ones who are not fully ready are you! The games are gonna go for 4 days, from Thursday the 13th until Sunday 16th. I can’t say that there is anything special about that schedule but if you get confused about the ELIM Rounds those are the Elimination (losers) bracket matches.
