Warzone Season 2 will be kicking off with a slew of new content for players to enjoy.
From new POIs, to new modes, and a brand new plane are among just the many things players can expect when dropping into Caldera from February 14.
Besides being able to take the skies and explore Caldera’s additions with the new bomber plane that’s capable of leveling infantry and vehicles, the devs have spiced the popular battle royale up with the arrival of NPC enemies.
However, the most noticeable update to Caldera in Warzone Season 2 is the new locations. From Season 2’s release, players can explore The Chemical Factory and Chemical Research Labs.
Be cautious at these new POI’s that are located between Mines and Docks. Raven Software has introduced Axis soldiers that patrol the area, along with armored transports.
If you do cross paths with the enemy NPCs – which are typically found in the guard towers – it might be worthwhile putting up a fight against them. If you’re successful in taking them down, players will receive “powerful rewards.”
As expected, the Season 2 update brings even more to the table – the Nebula V & Portable Decontamination Stations. Arriving to Caldera as a new field upgrade, Nebula V ammo makes your powerful loadout even stronger.
While your projectile bullets don’t deal more damage, downing an enemy when using Nebula V bullets causes a poisonous gas cloud to exploded around them. Unless you have a gas mask, reviving will be a difficult task.
Along with the ammo upgrade is the Nebula V bomb. And as the name implies, when detonated a gas cloud erupts in the area for two minutes. However, to counter the new Nebula V items, players can use a Portable Decontamination Station – which can remove the gas for a short period of time.
After Warzone Season 2 was delayed for two weeks beyond its initial planned release, it’s safe to say the huge update that has brought a ton of new features beyond what was covered in this was well worth the wait.
