CS:GO 2v2 Tournament Red Bull Flick Returns for 2021

Featuring a unique set of custom maps and a brand new futuristic sci-fi narrative, this year’s Red Bull Flick is set to determine the best duos in the world and put them against some of the best players in the world.

While the season will start in April, the series will culminate in November at the Red Bull Flick Invitational, a LAN event set in Helsinki, Finland that will wrap up the season and determine the best power duo in CS:GO.

Boasting sponsorships with Steelseries and AOC, the event will also have none other than Nikola ‘NiKo’ Kovač, G2’s superstar rifler, as their Brand Ambassador, with the Bosnian talent making appearances and providing his expert opinion throughout the tournament.

Red Bull Flick 2021 will also feature star-studded players inside the server. Last year’s Red Bull Flick Pro EU Invitational saw incredible duos from the likes of Team Vitality, BIG Clan, ENCE and G2. Not only does the event feature the best duos hailing from each region but also some of the best pro players in the world.

Red Bull Flick 2021 will comprise national tournaments in more than 30 countries and international online qualifiers open to all. Winners will earn a spot in the Red Bull Flick Invitational Helsinki.

For its 2021 season, the series will also have a new battlefield. Its game mode will feature a brand new system of capture points, with each duo fighting for control of the map. There is also a brand new narrative, which will be the first of its kind, along with themed maps and content, that has been incorporated into a Red Bull event.

The story will focus on an alternative reality in which esports is the ultimate form of public entertainment, which will take players to custom maps and arenas across multiple planets and space stations.

First launched in 2019 with a local event in Turkey, the tournament first went global in 2020 with 45,000 registrations and over 30 countries competing in its unparalleled 2v2 setting, quickly becoming the premier event of its kind on a global scale.
