In case you were wondering, it looks like CD Projekt Red has no plans to cancel the currently planned Cyberpunk 2077 free DLC that is slated for an early 2021 release date.
After the disastrous launch of Cyberpunk 2077 including the developer even being hit with a class action lawsuit, CD Projekt Red is still going through with their adjusted release schedule for the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 free DLC.
While it isn’t clear what the new content will include, I’m sure we can expect at least a few new vehicles, new weapons, new modifications, and hopefully some new missions. Fingers are crossed, but I’m keeping my expectations pretty low. For now, I think that CDPR should focus their efforts on fixing the issues that plague the game as it stands.
With CD Projekt Red being in a bit of a tough spot right now, I’m sure that they are trying to do everything they possibly can to regain their solid reputation with players and turn the public opinion on Cyberpunk 2077 into a positive one, such as The Witcher 3.
What do you think? Do you think that the new free DLC for Cyberpunk 2077 is going to turn the tide for the game or do you think that this can only dig the game into an even deeper hole than it currently sits in?
