The first Cyberpunk 77 hotfix after the big Patch 1.1 update, that brought new problems, is out on PC, consoles and Stadia.
It’s not news anymore that CD Projekt new game, Cyberpunk 77, came with many bugs, especially on older generation consoles. They promised they would fix everything, as stated in their commitment to quality message, where they also stated the game would receive two big patches, Patch 1.1 and 1.2, both during the beginning of the year.
“We are committed to fixing bugs and crashes and will continue to work and improve the game via future updates to make sure you are enjoying the game regardless of the platform.”CD Projekt Red
The Patch 1.1 was, just as promised, released on 22nd of January, but, it was received with mixed feelings. Although the patch fixed many issues with quests, stability, UI and more specific problems, it also brought new ones.
The most complained new issue was during the main quest Down on the Street. In this quest, the player has to receive a holo call from Takemura, but, after the patch, when the player answered the call, Takemura was completely silent making the players stuck on this mission and blocking interactions with other NPCs. After the complaints, CD Projekt even released a video with instructions of a potential workaround. Not only that, but the new patch also broke the item randomization.
Now, it took some days, but the hotfix 1.11 finally seems to have fixed the problem with talking to Takemura during the Down on the Street quest and restored the item randomization to its previous state. But, with a much bigger patch coming along, the road to make Cyberpunk 77 perfect and make up to fans is not over yet.
