Cyberpunk 2077 is perhaps the most anticipated game of 2020 and is due to be released on November 19th, the same date as the Playstation 5 for outside the US, Japan, and Oceania. The game will release on PS4, Xbox One, the upcoming PS5 and Xbox Series X, as well as PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GoG.
In a recent Twitch stream, the PC requirements were revealed for Cyberpunk 2077, and they are very achievable for most gamers. The minimum requirements should be achievable for anyone who actively plays games on their PC, as most of the parts listed were released between 2012-2014.
The minimum requirements will likely mean low settings at 30fps, but these parts range from being released between 2012-2014, apart from the RX 470 which was released in 2016 but is only a 4gb card. The requirements are:
- CPU: i5 3570K/FX 8310
- GPU: GTX 780/RX 470
- Ram: 8GB

For the recommended, these will likely be high settings or medium/high settings at 60fps. Despite being a 2014 CPU, the i7 4790 is still a very capable CPU, but the £85 Ryzen 3 3200G stands toe to toe with it, meaning if you’ve upgraded your parts in the last few years, you probably meet the requirements. The GPUs listed are also pretty standard now and players shouldn’t have anything less than these in 2020. The ram listed is 12gb but 16gb is the standard for 2020 gaming so if you don’t have 16gb yet, upgrade. The requirements are:
- CPU: i7 4790/Ryzen 3200G
- GPU: GTX 1060 6GB/AMD R9 Fury
- Ram: 12GB
Overall, the requirements are very reasonable for the upcoming CD Projekt Red title, but if your PC is really outdated, the game will be available on consoles, too.
