Trying to decide which lifepath to choose in Cyberpunk 2077? Here’s a guide on the Cyberpunk Corpo lifepath!
What is a Lifepath?
So, you just started your journey in Night City and you need to choose 1 of 3 different Lifepaths including Corporate, Nomad, and Street Kid. Well you may be asking yourself what are these Lifepaths? What do they mean? Well, a Lifepath is “the player defined backstory to your characters.” Basically it’s how you choose your character’s background and personal history. Choosing different Lifepaths will unlock different story paths and missions, so if you choose the Corporate Lifepath in Cyberpunk, you’ll have access to Corporate Lifepath specific prologue missions, same with the Nomad and Street Kid Lifepaths.
“Corpos are most at home in the board room after rising the corporate ladder of the Arasaka corporation. As such, this often gives the benefit of being able to read people and read between the lines when trying to do business with them.”Credit: Cyberpunk Fandom
Corpo-Rat Prologue Mission
Choosing the Corporate Lifepath in Cyberpunk 2077 unlocks “The Corpo-Rat” prologue mission. This is a main quest prologue available only to players who choose the Corporate Lifepath in Cyberpunk, so you’ll be locked into this decision until your next play through! You start off the game as V, who in this Lifepath, is a “fresh faced mid-tier corporate” who works in the counterintelligence division of the Arasaka corporation. I won’t go into too much detail about the rest of the mission, as it’ll get pretty spoiler-heavy, so you may just want to hop in and play through it yourself.
