In a special Night City Wire broadcast, CD Projekt Red are testing Cyberpunk 2077 in an Xbox performance stream on Twitch. This will show what the game looks like on Xbox One X and Xbox Series X.
Cyberpunk 2077 is on the way. It’s almost here. It’s can’t be delayed again, right?
Despite rumours of further delay, Cyberpunk 2077 developers CD Projekt Red appear to be doubling down on their December 10 release date. Thank god!
In a Tweet earlier, that was dropped pretty abruptly prior to the Twitch stream, Cyberpunk 2077 announced the special Xbox performance test stream:
This stream will aim to boast the game’s performance on the current-generation’s Xbox One X and the next-generation’s Xbox Series X. The console names are confusing, but the difference between the two shouldn’t be. Fingers crossed.
Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox Performance Stream Results
Hollie Bennet introduced the Cyberpunk 2077 Night City Wire Special expressing that the stream was highly requested. The steam shows footage from the mission “Missing Love”.
The following screenshots don’t wuite do the game justice, however… You still can see a difference.

Although it’s difficult to see the difference in textures between the two. The main difference is the dynamic lighting and the reflective surfaces. The Xbox Series X shows a clear improvement in this department thanks to it’s ray-tracing abilities.
