Danish organization North add Lekr0

Updated:

North has announced the addition of Jonas ‘Lekr0’ Olofsson. The Swedish player will continue his career in the organization after being benched by NIP three months ago. He will fill the spot left open after Markus ‘kjaerbye’ Kjærbye’s departure back in July.

Lekr0 joins the squad after spending two years with Ninjas in Pyjamas. On that roster, he played the role of IGL and led them to their first Major run in two years. But in June, NIP decided to replace him with Hampus’ hampus’ Poser. Ever since, rumors of a potential move to Mad Lions have surrounded Lekr0. He now officially joins their Danish rivals in North as a rifler but says he will still “assist with tactical input both pre and mid-game”.

Lekr0 will be reunited with his former Fnatic coach Jimmy ‘jumpy’ Bengtsson, who now coaches North. The squad will continue to communicate in a mixture between Danish and Swedish, but these two languages share many similarities.

North will debut their new lineup in the third Nine To Five event, an online tournament with a prize pool of $50.000. This lineup includes:

Denmark Nicklas “gade” Gade
Denmark Mathias “MSL” Lauridsen
Denmark René “cajunb” Borg
Denmark Philip “aizy” Aistrup
 Jonas “Lekr0” Olofsson

 Jimmy “Jumpy” Berndtsson (coach)
