Ahead of its release next month, Kojima Productions and 505 Games have revealed what you’ll need in order to be able to run Death Stranding on PC.

Death Stranding PC Requirements
Death Stranding PC requirements have been released for minimum performance at 30fps/720p in addition to 30fps and 60fps at 1080p.
Minimum For 30fps @ 720p
OS: Windows 10
CPU: Intel® Core i5-3470 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200
RAM: 8 GB
GPU: GeForce GTX 1050 3 GB or AMD Radeon RX 560 4 GB
DirectX 12
HDD: 80GB
Sound cards: DirectX compatible
This all seems pretty good for a game like Death Stranding, but there are some things you should be aware of. Running the game on these minimum specs will only get you 30fps. Also, it will only run Death Stranding at 720p. This means that it’ll look worse than the PS4 version.
Death Stranding PC requirements shouldn’t be too hard to meet!
Thankfully, two sets of recommended specs have also been released for 1080p performance. There’s one for 30fps and 60fps, meaning you’ll get a bit more flexibility to optimise the performance to your PC’s hardware.
Recommended For 30fps @ 1080p
OS: Windows 10
CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 or AMD Ryzen 5 1400
RAM: 8GB
GPU: GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4 GB or Radeon RX 570 4 GB
DirectX 12
HDD: 80GB
Sound cards: DirectX compatible
Recommended For 60fps @1080p
OS: WIndows 10
CPU: Intel Core i7-3770 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600
RAM: 8GB
GPU: GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB or AMD Radeon RX 590
DirectX 12
HDD: 80GB
Sound cards: DirectX compatible
This might be as good as it gets, though, given it’s a port of a PlayStation title over a native PC release. However, I wouldn’t put it past Kojima Productions to try and work on a way of enhancing the specs to make the most out of the game’s graphics.
Death Stranding is coming to Steam and the Epic Games Store on July 14th.
