Best Armor in Escape From Tarkov

Eagle Industries MMAC

This armor is appropriate for all player types. It serves as a tactical rig in addition to being reasonably lightweight and strategically solid.

Being a Tier 4 won’t assist much against those well-equipped players using M995, M855A1, or Igolnik ammunition. However, it will aid a lot while facing BP, BS, and BT ammunition. When wandering through the map, it will undoubtedly be a quick and convenient option that offers decent security.

It is readily available from raiders and rogues on Lighthouse, or it may be acquired by bartering a sewing kit and a ripcord with Ragman. You can buy it, on average, for less than 50,000 rubles.

Every player’s default armor for their PMC should be this. On the one hand, it saves money, but on the other hand, it sacrifices space.

TV-110 Wartech

Despite being rather hard to come by, save for the occasional dead PMC, this armor serves as a fantastic tactical rig with outstanding space allocation that offers most players good protection. You can pick it up from raiders and even though it’s not the best armor in Escape from Tarkov it still offers everything you need.

It is one of the few armored tactical rigs that has three 3×1 slots for magazines and loot storage in addition to a 2×2 space for loot. It allows players to run while holding magazines of 45 rounds or more without worrying about losing them during tense firefights like those in the D2 region on Reserve.

On the plus side, it has very few drawbacks, including low movement speed decreases and excellent durability combined with premium steel plate material.

BNTI Korund-VM

The Korund armor continues to be both practical and expandable. It is easily repairable even if it does zero out considerably quicker than other Tier 5 armors.

By using Ragman’s barter deals, players may access several of these types of reliable, cheap armors in the game. For those hoping to escape a feared one-tap thorax shot from the unnervingly precise AI Scavs, this is the go-to armor.

In mid-wipe PVP, when anything except the highest quality ammunition will take more than a few shots to bring people down, this armor works great. The Korund outperforms most armor in terms of availability and simplicity of use.

IOTV Gen4

Along with the Highcom Trooper, the IOTV Gen4 is an armor that most gamers would remember as being worn by raiders and troopers. Not only is this a Tier 5 armor, but it also offers three distinct coverage choices. It includes variations with great mobility, an attack kit, and full protection. Each of these sacrifices mobility to provide better protection.

The price of upkeep is the only significant drawback of this armor. Given that it costs more to fix this piece of equipment than Prapor, Skier, or Mechanic, people with limited resources may wish to save it for raids that need specialized equipment or use it only in certain, special circumstances.

6B43 Zabralo-Sh

Escape From Tarkov Best Armor Zabralo
Zabralo-Sh armor stats

For those who want to go cautiously and slowly during raids, Escape from Tarkov’s 6B43 Zabralo-Sh armor is undoubtedly the best choice. When wearing this armor, players commonly pair it with an Altyn or Maska helmet to feel fully protected like a true tank.

As soon as players reach loyalty level three with both Prapor and Ragman, they will both offer different barter exchanges, making it somewhat simpler to get Tier 6 armors.

It is encouraged to try out offline raids to get used to the mobility penalties. Unfortunately, those wearing this armor won’t be able to outmaneuver most enemies. They will instead choose to tank the damage dealt to them in the knowledge that they will ultimately prevail in the combat.

Unfortunately, Zabralo’s weight is mostly a drawback. Any PMC would be seriously endangered by a drop in moving speed of 35%, let alone the fact that it also has a reduction in turning speed of 21% and a mobility score of -27.

Slick Plates

One of the most challenging armors to locate in Escape from Tarkov are the Slicks. There are three different color options available, but gamers shouldn’t care that much about which one they get.

Players may no longer purchase Tier 6 armor through any other means than Trader barter deals. This is due to the recent modifications to the Flea Market. These armors are now considerably harder to get, which also increases their value.

The overall protection and mobility it gives will make any player a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield.

Hexgrid

The Hexgrid is one of a select few special armors that in terms of pure mobility and damage absorption is fairly balanced. It has superb mobility, turn speed, and ergonomics, comparable to the Slicks.

Players will be able to execute extremely rapid movements, such as quick positional changes and window leaping, without running the danger of their stamina running out in the middle of a battle.

Without sacrificing speed or tactical agility, the Hexgrid will offer the torso and stomach the highest level of protection. The Hexgrid’s main drawback is that it is extremely rare and costly.

And those were the best armors in Escape from Tarkov. Of course, if that wasn’t enough content for you, here are more Escape from Tarkov-related guides and news that might interest you:
