ESL recently announced that one of its biggest CSGO events of the year, ESL One Cologne, will take place without a live audience.

ESL One Cologne – CSGO
The ESL One Cologne CSGO event was set to take place on the 6-12th of July, but due to health concerns in Germany, large gatherings are not allowed. Regulations are currently in place until the end of August but could persist longer. They announced that the event will now take place on the 21-30th of August, with more details to come.
Stating that, “In the spirit of esports and to keep the competition for players going, this year’s ESL One Cologne will be transformed into a broadcasted tournament without a live-audience on August 21-30. Our team is currently working out the final tournament details to still bring ESL One Cologne to you, the fans, with a solution that is the best and safest for players, coaches, employees, and talent. More information will be available soon.”
ESL One Cologne will be back in 2021 as a live event and is scheduled for July 16-18. The tickets purchased for the 2020 event will be valid for the 2021 event. ESL also stated that refunds will be allowed until the end of 2020.
Commenting that, “If you already know you can’t make the new dates next year, you are able to request a ticket refund until the end of 2020. Please read through the official event website and FAQ on how to request a refund.”
IEM Melbourne
ESL announced that this CSGO event will no longer take place in 2020 and has been completely rescheduled to take place over the weekend of August 21-22 in 2021. Tickets purchased for the 2020 event will be valid for the 2021 event. Requests for refunds must be made within the month and can be done through Ticketek. More information on that can be found here.
