“LemonNation”, veteran League of Legends pro and founding member of the insanely popular Cloud 9 has unfortunately tested positive for the Coronavirus.
He was prompted to get tested after he began having minor symptoms of what seemed to be a cold. Having found out that a roommate’s relationship partner tested positive for the virus, he got himself tested, and it returned positive as well.
From his beginning as an only support high elo player to managing to become rank 1 in solo queue during season 2 and joining the competitive scene shortly after, he is surely an important player in the history of LoL. He went on to play for Quantic Gaming but left it with his team to play under an old name of theirs that goes by the name of Cloud 9. Sound familiar?
After just setting up this team, they went on to destroy in Season 3, wiping TSM 3-0 in the Playoff Finals, solidifying them as a force to be reckoned with. To this day, Cloud 9 continues to be relevant, and LemonNation eventually moved on to become a manager for Radiance, which is what he is currently up to these days. It makes this situation all the more depressing, and the staff here at Gamezo truly wish him a speedy recovery.
At the very least, he seems to be doing alright, considering his tweet.
Follow him on Twitter @LemonNation and wish him a speedy recovery! As for League of Legends itself, the playoffs are going to be starting soon, and we hope to not see any players from the scene testing positive. This virus is no joke, and if tested positive for this Coronavirus, the last thing our pro players will be worrying about is a League of Legends match.
