When Will the Skins Be Available?
Three Sonic The Hedgehog-themed skins are confirmed to be coming to the Fall Guys store in August 2022. These skins will represent the main heroes of the Sonic universe – Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails.
The Sonic and Knuckles skins are returning from the 2020 Sonic crossover event, while the Tails skin is brand new for the 2022 crossover. We haven’t seen any footage of the Tails’ skin yet, but we’re sure it will look as adorably goofy as the returning skins.
These skins will be around for a limited time only, so be sure to pick them up during the event if you want to dress your Fall Guy up as your favorite Sonic character. If you miss the August 2022 crossover event, don’t worry. There’s always a chance that these skins will return in a future crossover event.
How Much Will the Skins Cost?
We’re not sure how much the Sonic skins are going to cost. Since the last Sonic crossover event in 2020, Fall Guys has moved away from the Crowns and Kudos currencies.
These were the currencies that the Sonic and Knuckles skins were bought with, which makes their new price impossible to know for certain. Luckily, we can make a decent guess as to how much the skins will cost. Recent premium skins have been costing 800 Show Bucks each.
How to Get Show Bucks
The Sonic skins will most likely cost 800 Show Bucks each. This is a steep price, so you’ll have to start grinding if you don’t want to pay real money for them. The only way to get free Show Bucks is to progress through the season pass. The fastest way to do this is by completing daily, weekly, and marathon challenges.
If you manage to complete the entire season pass, you’ll have a total of 1500 Show Bucks, leaving you just short of being able to buy two full premium skins. If you want more Show Bucks, or want to avoid grinding through the season pass, you’ll have to pay real money in the Fall Guys store.
