In Fallout 76, Acid is used primarily in two ways: at Chemistry Stations for smelting ore, and for crafting Gunpowder. It is also needed to craft fuel for the Flamer, so it’s pretty important.

You’ll be able to find acid in a number of key locations in Fallout 76, which we’ll show below. However, it can also be gained through scrapping a number of Junk Items. Below we’ll list every Junk Item that produces acid and how much it gives you.

Below, you’ll be able to see all the locations you can find Acid in Fallout 76. This doesn’t include the locations of scrapable items or creatures that drop Acid, as they can be found throughout the West Virginia Wasteland.

Firstly, you’ll be able to find Acid in a number of locations in the aptly-named Toxic Valley. This is recommended for players level 20+.

Secondly, Acid can be found in a number of locations in Savage Divide North. This locations is recommended for players level 30+.

Acid can also be found in a few areas in the south-east area of the map: the Savage Divide South and the Cranberry Bog.

The Savage Divide South is recommended for players level 30+, meanwhile the Cranberry Bog is recommended for players level 40+.

Other Ways To Get Acid In Fallout 76

Below are all the Junk Items that will give you Acid when you scrap them. For the most part, they will give you one or two Acid.
