Black Titanium is an ore native, and unique, to the Appalachia region of West Virginia. It’s expensive to mine and refine, however, it is highly valuable when used correctly.
In Fallout 76, Black Titanium is used in crafting high-level power armour and power armour modifications, as well as repairing the Cultist Blade.
Black Titanium can be acquired in Ore form, as an Ingot, and in Scraps.
Fallout 76 Black Titanium Ore Locations
Firstly, Black Titanium can be found scattered across the northern parts of Fallout 76‘s map in a few loactions.
These include Deathclaw Island, located in The Forest, and Abbie’s Bunker, located in The Mire.
In the south-west corner of the map, four more Black Titanium deposits can be found. They are all located in the Ash Heap area of the map. This is recommended for players level 25+.
Finally, a couple Black Titanium deposits can be found in the Cranberry Bog, as seen below. This area is recommended for players over level 40.
How To Produce Black Titanium Scrap
Black Titanium Scrap, which is vital in crafting Black Titanium, can be produced by scrapping the Junk Items below:
Black Titanium Ingot ( Yields 3), High Int Rock ( Yields 2), and Miner Suit Scrap ( Yields 1).
These items can be scrapped at the following locations:
Armor Workbench, Chemistry Station, Power Armor Station, Tinker’s Workbench, and Weapons Workbench.

Miner Suit Scraps can be found after defeating Mole Miners at the following locations:
South Cutthroat Camp, Monongah Power Plant, Uncanny Caverns, Top of the World, Mount Blair, The Rusty Pick, and Blackwater Mine.
