FaZe Clan will host a $50k VALORANT tournament from Aug. 6-9. 16 teams will compete in the largest prize pool for Riot’s 5v5 FPS to date. The organization is collaborating with the VALORANT Ignition Series to host North America’s top teams in the event. FaZe’s roster is incomplete, with Corey “Corey” Nigra, Zachary “zachaREEE” Lombardo and Jimmy “Marved” Nguyen awaiting two teammates.

FaZe will debut as one of the 12 invited teams in the event, with four spots being up for grabs in a qualifier event from August 1-2.

“We are so excited to team up with our friends at Riot and our amazing partners at Nissan and Verizon to put on this tournament,” FaZe Clan Chief Revenue Officer Jeff Pabst said. “Fans can expect a true FaZe Clan live experience chock-full of entertainment unlike any tournament the gaming community is used to seeing.”

This will be another solid opportunity for the best in North American VALORANT to prove themselves, along with amateur teams competing alongside.

“FaZe is a name that’s immediately recognizable across esports, and we’re thrilled to support their debut Valorant event. With the largest prize pool to date in the Ignition Series, and hand-picked competitors, we’re confident the FaZe Clan Valorant Invitational will not only live up to the hype, but will be yet another huge step forward for Valorant competition in North America.”

This is currently the largest VALORANT tournament to date.

Prizing:

First – $25,000

Second – $15,000

Third – $7,500

Fourth – $2,500
