During a recent Fortnite Solo Cash Cup tournament, FaZe Dubs was accused of teaming with another player.
A Twitter user called ‘Leaffr‘ posted a video showing replay footage of FaZe Dubs and Waffleslul apparently teaming, and there is a lot of evidence to support it.
After recently being suspended from FaZe and banned from Twitch for using a racial slur, you would think that Dubs would be on his best behaviour, as eyes are on him looking for his next screw up.
Both Dubs and Waffleslul landed at The Rig in all six of the matches during the tournament yet never engaged each other once. In the video, it shows multiple occasions where both players spectated the other engaging in a fight, yet never third-partied the fights. There is also a clip of Waffleslul waiting for Dubs to loot the vault before going to it himself. Both players also trailed behind each other in rotations without engaging.
Probably the most damming clip is when both players appear to give a “3,2,1” count before firing at another player. This could possibly indicate they were both in a call with each other, communicating throughout the tournament.
It is also stated in the video that Waffleslul was recently banned from a scrim Discord server for teaming and that both players are part of a friend group called ‘Gen Z’, so are both known to each other.
At this point, it is all purely speculation and likely will remain just that, as I doubt either player would admit to it.
The internet has been calling for FaZe Dubs to be removed from FaZe after multiple instances, including saying the N-word on stream as well as accusations of hacking earlier in his career.
We have embedded the video below because the original Twitter video has now been removed.
