FaZe to run $75k Warzone Tournament with Twitch Rivals

Updated:

The FaZe Face-off will constitute another huge Warzone tournament later this month. The organization came out with the news today that they are partnering with Twitch Rivals to host a $75,000 prize pool Warzone tournament featuring content creators, musicians and athletes. It’s another large North American Warzone tournament with guys like NICKMERCS, Josh Hart, Ben Simmons, and more set to compete.

The event will be on September 17 at 22:00 BST. Lots of legendary FaZe members will compete in the event as well as content creators who have gained popularity in Call of Duty’s Battle Royale hit. 20 teams will compete in the event with some of the current players already announced.

“We are so excited to be teaming up with Twitch for this massive event,” FaZe COO Jaci Hays said. “Our teams are working together to level up the entertainment value in the livestream space, and we are just getting started with this Twitch Rivals tournament. Fans can expect a one-of-a-kind, interactive, highly-entertaining experience.”

The event isn’t a professional event, it seems. It all is more about the pro-am aspect, with gamers paired with celebrity guests. Viewers will be able to receive giveaways from FaZe Clan along with other content.
