With the recent Fortnite FNCS Solo tournament wrapping up this weekend, Epic laid out the road map for future FNCS tournaments, and Trios are coming back.
In a recent tweet, Epic announced that the Trios format will be making a return in Season 3 with Cash Cups, along with another Solo FNCS, before both Solo and Trios FNCS tournaments in Season 4. This also means that Trios will be returning to Arena throughout Seasons 3 and 4. The Trios format is often hailed as the best format for competitive, and many players have been asking for it to return, and now it is!
I’m really glad that Epic have begun communicating with players again after going radio silent since Chapter 2 began. It’s slowly feeling like we’re getting the old Epic Games and Fortnite back.
