Fortnite FNCS Solo Invitational

The Fortnite FNCS Solo tournament concluded this weekend, with millions of dollars up for grabs. With that kind of money on the line, some people resort to cheating to secure some of the prize money. Sekosama, winner of the Asia region, won $15,000 in the tournament but was stripped of their winnings just hours after winning and banned for 14 days for cheating.

Dexerto reported that Sekosama was caught teaming. “Sekosama’s ‘teammate’ would loot health packs and other important items, before leaving them in hidden spots for him to collect. In other instances, he would feed the kill to Sekosama, giving him an elimination point as well as the items.”

Shortly after the story broke, a player posted a Tweet that said they heard the players in Discord colluding with each other, and it was caught on stream, too. Check out the tweet below:

The second place player of the Fortnite FNCS solo tournament, qjac, was awarded first place and the $15,000 prize money.
