Forza Horizon 5 is a huge game with a plethora of content to discover. One of the most popular elements of every Forza Horizon game is the barn finds and Forza Horizon 5 is no different. Currently, there are 15 individual barn find locations to discover in Forza Horizon 5 and we have all of them, along with what is required to complete them, right here. So let’s dive in.

Table of Contents

  • 1953 Chevrolet Corvette
  • 1973 BMW 2002 Turbo

  • 1968 Ford Mustang GT 2+2 Fastback

1963 Volkswagen Beetle

The 1963 Volkswagen Beetle is the barn find that most players are likely to find first in Forza Horizon 5.

The “Vocho” can be earned as part of the Horizon Stories side missions. The Horizon Story in question is named after the Mexican nickname for the Beetle, “Vocho.” Simply play through the Vocho Horizon Story to unlock the car and learn about its history in Mexican car culture.

The 1963 Volkswagen Beetle will be unlocked for players in the penultimate chapter of the story. The Vocho Horizon Story can be found in the Adventure section of the game. The missions are also represented on the map by the yellow Volkswagen logo.

As a bonus, once players reach the Hall of Fame in Forza Horizon 5 the last Vocho chapter will be unlocked. This final chapter rewards players with a custom Forza Edition Beetle with unique cosmetic and performance upgrades.

1967 Ford Racing Escort RS1600 MK1

The legendary 1967 Ford Racing Escort RS1600 MK1 is another piece of Mexican racing history. This car gained legendary status when it was one of the most successful entrants in the 1970 London to Mexico City World Cup Rally. Over one hundred cars entered the endurance rally event but only 23 made it to the end in Mexico City. The Ford Escort MK1 dominated the event. Five of the top eight places were achieved by the formidable car, including first and third.

The Ford Escort MK1 barn find can be located on La Gran Caldera volcano. The barn itself is around halfway up the south side of the mountain at the end of a small dirt road that is marked by an XP board. Check the screenshot above for the exact location on the mountain.

1970 GMC Jimmy

The 1970 GMC Jimmy can only be found after completing a specific objective in the Horizon Apex Expedition. The Horizon Apex Expedition is the event that unlocks the Horizon Apex Festival site.

To access the 1970 GMC Jimmy players need to make sure they complete the “reach the top of the central ruin” objective in the expedition. When reaching the top of the ruin the barn find rumor will unlock. Only players who have unlocked the Forza Horizon 5 Apex Festival site and completed the objective will be able to access the GMC Jimmy barn find location.

Predictably, the GMC Jimmy barn location is close to the ruins from where it can be seen. Players will need to head into the jungle southeast of the ruins to find the barn. Check the screenshot above for the precise location.

1991 Jaguar XJR-15 Sport

Like the vocho, the Jaguar XJR-15 Sport is a story find that is hard for players to miss. To get this blisteringly fast 90s supercar players will need to go on the hunt for a “big cat” with everyone’s favorite tour guide, Ramiro. The event required to find the XJR-15 is the Horizon Wilds Expedition. It is possible to complete the expedition without finding the car so be sure to locate the barn before leaving the mission. When players find Ramiro’s notes the barn find area will reveal itself so it’s hard to miss.

Since it’s part of the mission this barn find location is easier to access than others but for those who need a nudge in the right direction, head south at the eastern end of the runway (but not quite at the end) to find this big cat.

1962 Ferrari 250 GTO

The Ferrari 250 GTO is one of the rarest and most sought-after cars of all time. In the real world, one of the 36 250 GTOs produced by Ferrari can sell for up to $70 million. So we’re well and truly in fantasy land finding one of these in a barn, but hey, that’s what video games are for.

Players can find this beautiful car near the Horizon Apex Festival site. Head east of the Horizon Apex site towards the coast. The Ferrari 250 GTO barn is just before the jungle that lines the coast to the southeast of the Eliminator icon on the map. Check the screenshot above for the exact location.

1968 Renault Quatrelle

The 1968 Renault Quatrelle is a part of Mexican automotive history like the vocho. The Quatrelle was sold in Mexico at a time when the Mexican government had banned cars that were made abroad. This meant Renault had to build the cars in Mexico to sell them. It might not be the fastest barn find on this list but it’s a cool piece of history.

To find the Renault Quatrelle players need to purchase the La Cabana player house. The house costs 150,000 credits but can’t be purchased until after the Horizon Baja Festival site has been unlocked. Therefore players will need to first unlock the festival and then purchase the house in order to receive the barn find rumor. Once the rumor has been received head to the green area of the map directly east of the house. The Renault Quatrelle sits just past the last road of the Dunas Blancas streets. Check the screenshot above for the exact location.

1993 Toyota T100 Baja Truck

The Toyota T100 Baja Truck is another Mexican racing legend. The Toyota T100 Baja Truck represents the prestigious Mexican Baja Rally that Toyota won in 1993 and 1998. This car is one of the best off-road vehicles in Forza Horizon 5 so it’s well worth finding and customizing.

The Baja Truck can be found northwest of Costa Rocosa above the dirt road on the map and to the west of the river. Check the screenshot above for the exact location.

1989 Ferrari F40 Competizione

The 1989 Ferrari F40 Competizione is one of Ferrari’s all-time great cars. While not quite as expensive as the 250 GTO from earlier in the list the F40 is very much out of reach of the average person.

The F40 Competizione is located deep in the jungle near the Horizon Rush Expedition. Look for the big blue H all the way on the east of the map. From there head directly west and just a little bit south to find the Ferrari F40 Competizione.

1999 Dodge Viper GTS ACR

The 1999 Dodge Viper GTS ACR is a second-generation Dodge Viper and arguably the coolest Viper of them all. The Viper is an all-American muscle car with more engine than sense. It won’t be winning any Horizon off-road races but it’s sure to do well in a straight line.

The Dodge Viper GTS is located deep in the jungle west of the Ferrari F40. Conveniently, the Viper barn is precisely where the map says “Gran Pantano.” Specifically between the “A” and “N” of “Pantano.”

1953 Chevrolet Corvette

The Corvette that started it all is one of the coolest barn finds in Forza Horizon 5 and also the oldest. America’s sports car is located northwest of the Ferrari F40. The Corvette is fairly easy to find in the middle of open farmland. Head directly east from the pink H on the Horizon map and across the highway. Just after crossing the highway, the 53 Corvette can be found in all its glory.

1973 BMW 2002 Turbo

The 1973 BMW 2002 Turbo was BMW’s first-ever turbocharged car. It paved the way for the popular M3s and M5s of today as a seriously quick sedan.

The BMW 2002 Turbo barn is tricky to see from a distance as it sits at the bottom of La Gran Caldera and the canyon biome. It’s just off the road going between the two but be sure to check the map above for the exact location.

1973 Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 RS

Another great from 1973 is the Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 RS. One of the classic Porsche 911s, the Carrera 2.7 RS gets its name from the Carrera Panamerica races in Mexico.

This classic Porsche is located in a barn just down the road from the previous BMW 2002 Turbo. Follow the roads south until arriving at the speed camera north of “Colinas Aridas” on the map. From the speed camera head northwest. The Porsche is located in a barn on top of a hill so it’s easy to find.

1968 Dodge Dart Hemi Super Stock

The 1968 Dodge Dart Hemi Super Stock was the first Dart to be made and sold by Dodge specifically with drag racing in mind. It even came with a non-warranty disclaimer warning those who purchased one to only use it when supervised.

The highly customizable American muscle car is located south of the Teotihuacan ruins. The Dart can be found in a barn just under where it says “Teotihuacan” on the map.

1956 Ford F-100

The 1956 Ford F-100 is what most people think of when they picture a 1950s truck. It’s the quintessential American pick-up from the mid-century.

The Ford F-100 can be found near the Horizon Street Festival site. Players can head directly east from El Stadio Horizon or northeast from the pink H on the Horizon map. The F-100 barn is located just next to the drift event and is easy to spot.

1968 Ford Mustang GT 2+2 Fastback

The 1968 Ford Mustang is the Ford Mustang. One of the most well-known cars in the world and undoubtedly the most popular of the barn finds, it isn’t difficult to get ahold of the classic car in Forza Horizon 5.

The Ford Mustang Fastback, like the F-100, can be found close to the Horizon Street Festival site. The Fastback is directly north of the F-100. It’s sat just off the road to the northwest of the danger sign. It can be a little tricky to spot the barn so players may want to make use of the drone to get a birds-eye view.

That’s every barn find in Forza Horizon 5! Note that the time it takes to actually receive each car varies, seemingly depending on rarity. The Ferrari 250 GTO takes the longest amount of time to receive by far so don’t worry if it takes a while to get all of these fancy cars back from the shop.
