Future Club Has Been Founded With Co-Op At Its’ Core

Published:

A number of game designers and artists have come together to form Future Club, a brand-new studio with co-operation at the heart of its’ structure.

Future Club is made up of a whole load of industry veterans, many of whom worked on titles like Skullgirls and Indivisible. They may not be your type of game, but it’s undeniable that they do what they aim to at the highest level of quality.

One thing that makes Future Club an exciting prospect is their proposed commitment to “2D hand-drawn animation.” Senior Animator Jonathan Kim has expressed that Future Club believe in the longevity of this medium and want to use it as a way to pay homage to the classics while also inspiring a new generation. “Our goal is to create games that are compelling and beautiful enough to be remembered long after their time.”

It’s an admirable objective but one that could very-well be possible as the market continues to expand and grow for all types of game.

Future Club Ethos, as Explained By Francesca Esquenazi

‘ We wanted to start fresh with a company structure that was worker-owned and gave everyone a say in the future of our organization. Future Club is an employee-owned cooperative game development studio, established with the belief that strong teams are greater than the sum of their parts. We value open, honest communication with peers, partners, and players, and take pride in our strength as a team. I’m very excited to continue leading and working with such an incredibly talented and passionate team of game developers.’
