Genshin Impact Jean Ascension

Jean is extremely easy to farm materials for, the main boss you will be fighting is the Ameno Hypostasis. This is where you will be farming for both the Hurricane Seed and Vayuda Turquoise, needing 46 seeds and a ton of Turquoise.

The next material you will need to stock up on are dandelions, which are scattered throughout the grass lands of Mondstadt, there are plenty of ways to track them, and about 8-10 spawn at the gates of Mondstadt every few days.

Lastly you are going to want to stock up on the mask the hilichurls drop so that you can upgrade her talents that allows her to puts out the max amount of damage.

Weapon

Similarly to Qiqi Jean is an extremely flexible character, being both good for damage and as a support. If you plan on playing her as a carry you are going to want to make sure you are getting her Aquila Favonia, the sword she was released with, that allows her to take hits and burst damage back.

If you plan on using her as a support you are going to want to make sure you pick up Skyward Blade which gives her energy recharge so you can consistently be using your ultimate and mass healing your entire team.

Genshin Impact Jean Artifacts

If you plan on playing her full damage you are going to want to pick up a 4-peice Gladiator’s Finale set which will give the player; “If the wielder of this artifact set uses a Sword, Claymore or Polearm, increases their Normal Attack DMG by 35%” Mihoyo.

Though if you are wanting to play her as a support you are going to want to focus on buffing your team with a 4-peice Noblesse Oblige set which gives “Using an Elemental Burst increase all party memebers’ ATK by 20% for 12s. This effect cannot stack” Mihoyo.

Playstyle

Her versatile character design makes it so that no matter which way you play her she will be giving team wide heals with the power of her healing from attacking and a massive heal from her ult. The difference between her being played as a carry and or a support comes mainly from her artifacts.

If you are doing the damage, Jean will be the primary on on the field doing most of the attack, though if you want to play her as the support you are going to want her switching on and off the field so that you can utilize the Noblesse Oblige passive.

Possible Team Comp

Jean works well with a tangent two carry team, for example utilizing the synergy that her and other sword users like Kaeya and Diluc for fast combat and easy transitions. Keeping both of them topped up and adding to their massive burst damage.

Though if you plan on using her as a carry having someone like Fischl to assist in bursting down enemies, and shocking them in place, or someone like Xinyan or Diona to keep Jean shielded and out of harms way are also good alternatives.
