Genshin Impact is a game with a lot of playable characters, this Klee Guide should help you decide if she is the right one for your team. Below is everything you need to know about this Spark Knight!
In Genshin Impact, you need a team to take on everything Teyvat throws at you. Through the Prologue Chapter, Archon Quest, players gain access to a starter team. However, with elemental attacks a huge focus in combat, you might be looking to change up your team composition. But, what if you need a hand deciding?
This guide will have everything you need to know about Klee, one of the unlockable playable characters in Genshin Impact.
In the world of Genshin Impact, Klee is a Spark Knight for the Knights of Favonius. She’s energetic, outgoing, and has a passion for bombs and explosives. As a playable character, she wields a Catalyst as her weapon and utilises the Pyro element.
Klee’s titles include Fleeing Sunlight, Spark Knight, and Red Burny Girl ( according to Razor!) She’s often seen as an optimistic character, but this is balanced with a degree of recklessness which often results in explosive accidents.
Below, we’ve included the official character description of Klee:
“ Knights of Favonius Spark Knight! Forever with a bang and a flash! —And then disappearing from the stern gaze of Acting Grand Master Jean. Sure, time in solitary confinement gives lots of time to think about new gunpowder formulas…But it’d still be better to not be in solitary in the first place.”
Genshin Impact Klee Character Guide
First things first, this Genshin Impact Klee Character Guide is going to discuss Klee’s Talents. These are the attacks and buffs that are unique to Klee.
Following from this, we’re going to cover Klee’s Constellation, her base stats, and then finally her Ascension Requirements. This Klee Character Guide aims to be an easy-to-access information dump for all the basics you’d need if you want to add her to your Genshin Impact team. Therefore, below that I’ll add a couple comments about things like Team Composition and the Strengths and Weaknesses Klee has.
Kaboom! – Normal/ Charged Attack
Kaboom! Is Klee’s Normal/ Charged Attack. During this, Klee essentially “ throws things that go boom when they hit things”. Seems simple enough, right?
Normally, this attack consists of 3 explosive attacks that deal Pyro AoE DMG. Charged, it consumes a certain amount of stamina and deals Pyro AoE DMG to enemies after a short casting time. As a plunging attack, Klee damages all enemies in her path downwards and deals Pyro AoE DMG as she impacts the ground.
Jumpty Dumpty – Elemental Skill
This is Klee’s Elemental Skill. With this attack, Klee throws Jumpty Dumpty. JD bounces three times, dealing Pyro AoE DMG on each bounce. Then, the bomb splits into 8 timed proximity mines that again deal Pyro AoE DMG.
Sparks ‘n’ Splash – Elemental Burst
This is Klee’s Elemental Burst attack. For 10 seconds, she summons 4 Sparks ‘n’ Splash to attack nearby enemies, dealing Pyro AoE DMG with each attack.
Pounding Surprise – Passive Talent 1
Whenever dealing damage with Normal Attacks or JD, Klee has a 50% chance to obtain and Explosive Spark. This makes Klee’s next Charged Attack free of charge Stamina-wise and deals 50% more DMG.
Sparkling Burst – Passive Talent 2
When Klee hits a CRIT on her Charged Attack, all party members get 2 Elemental Energy.
All Of My Treasures – Passive Talent 3
The in-game Mini-Map highlights the locations of nearby resources unique to Mondstadt.
Chained Reactions – Constellation Level 1
Any Attack or Skill use has a chance to summon sparks that deal DMG equivalent to 120% of Sparks ‘n’ Splash’s DMG.
Explosive Frags – Constellation Level 2
Being hit by JD’s mines decreases the enemy’s DEF by 23% for 10s.
Exquisite Compound – Constellation Level 3
Increases the level of JD by 3, with a Max Level of 15.
Sparkly Explosion – Constellation Level 4
If Klee leaves the field during Sparks ‘n’ Splash, an explosion is triggered that deals 555% of her ATK as Pyro AoE DMG.
Nova Burst – Constellation Level 5
Increases the level of Sparks ‘n’ Splash by 3, with a Max Level of 15.
Blazing Delight – Constellation Level 6
When under the effects of Sparks ‘n’ Splash, all party members will continually regenerate Energy. Activation of the ability will also give 10% Pyro DMG Bonus to all party members for 25s.

Thoughts On Klee?
Klee, despite her appearance, is pretty-damned tough and a good initiator. She may not have the highest base HP or DEF, but her ATK is slightly higher than a few others. That being said, she can deal huge amounts of Pyro DMG when used correctly.
Levelling Sparkly Explosion, which adds an AoE Pyro DMG attack when she switches out of a fight, is well-worth it. This attack is 555% of her ATK and can be used in Elemental Combo attacks to great effect.
She is also worth having if you’re resource hunting, thanks to her All Of My Treasure! Passive Talent.

Klee is a must-have addition to any Pyro-focused team, but would be rendered pretty useless when facing an opponent with high Pyro RES.
