In Genshin Impact, knowing the Shrine of Depths locations is vital if you’re looking for Luxurious Chests and the rewards within! Here’s everything you need to know about the Shrines, where to find them, and why they’re there. Header Image Credit: Gamepur
Shrine of Depths are ancient structures scattered throughout the Mondstadt and Liyue regions in Genshin Impact. Players can use region-specific keys to unlock these shrines and get to the Luxurious Chests within.
Below, you’ll see what the keys look like. With each region having ten shrines, there are twenty keys to collect in total.
Players can acquire keys through completing certain quests, one-time Abyssal Domains, and as a reward for ascending specific Adventure Ranks.
Luxurious Chests will reward the player with 40 Primogems, 60 Adventure Rank EXP, 10 region-specific Sigils and a further, random assortment of Weapons and Artifacts. Primogems are an important part of getting more Wish tokens, so they’re well worth going after.
Shrine of Depths Locations
In the northern-most areas of Mondstadt, you’ll be able to find six Shrines. They can be found near the following locations:

Near Brightcrown Canyon, around the Stormbearer Mountains, by Starsnatch Cliff, in Wolvendom, and around Springvale.
The next lot of Shrines can be found south of Mondstadt, and in the following locations:
Near the Qingce Villa, south of the Sal Terrae, by the Dadaupa Gorge and Falcon coast, and to the north-west of the Dragonspire.
There are also three Shrines clustered around Mt. Aozang and the Huaguang Stone Forest, to the north-west of the Liyue Region.
Finally, there are another four Shrine of Depth locations scattered throughout the rest of the Liyue Region. You can see their locations below:
In the Tianqiu Valley, north-west of the Dunyu Ruins, east of the Lingiu Pass, and on the island to the east of Liyue Harbour.
There are all the current Shrine of Depths locations in the Mondstadt and Liyue regions of Genshin Impact.
