Genshin Impact 1.4 update has a ton of amazing updates around the corner from new characters, events, a new boss battle and many more amazing things that we will cover in this article.
Genshin Impact 1.4 update will be released on March 17th 2021, only a few days away.
Rosaria
The newest character adding to our roster is Rosaria, and you know her from running around in the Dragonspine area, she is a Cryo Pole arm user who doubles as a Sister in the Church of Mondstat and a Nightwalker assassin.
She is a 4-star unit that will be featured on one of the rerun banners, more than likely she will be paired with Venti the bard of Mondstat.
Venti and Childe Banner Reruns
Genshin Impact 1.4 update made new players rejoice, Venti was the first-ever main character to run in NA, back when the game first released months ago. Though he is one character that hasn’t been cycled back through in any of the other banners.
So if you didn’t understand the pity system when playing the game first game or you didn’t get lucky and pull him early, you like myself are probably left without the tone deaf bard, THAT was until 1.4, MiHoYo is rereleasing the bard during his festival.
Another banner coming back out is Childe, a fan favorite for a lot of people playing the game, who weren’t lucky enough to get him or just didn’t play when he first came out. These are two highly sought out banners that leave players pinning for whatever primos they can find.
Genshin Impact 1.4 New Weapons
The new weapon banner will hold: “The Alley Flash,” “Elegy for the end,” “Alley Hunter,” and “Wine and Song.”
The Alley Flash: Itinerant Hero Increases the damage output of the wielding character by 12%. If the character is damaged, then the passive will be disabled for five seconds.
Elegy for the end: The Parting Refrain” increases the character’s elemental mastery by 60. When the character’s skill or burst hits the opponent, the character gains a Sigil.
After possessing four sigils, they will be consumed to provide 100 elemental mastery and a 20% ATK bonus to the nearby allies for the next 12 seconds in Genshin Impact.
Alley Hunter: When the wielding character is present in the party but not on-field, their DMG will be increased by 2% per second, up to a maximum of 20%. When the character is on-field for more than four seconds, the damage buff is decreased by 4% per second until it vanishes completely.
Wine and Song: On hitting an opponent, “Ever-changing” will decrease the wielding character’s sprinting stamina consumption by 14% for five seconds. Using an alternative sprint or a normal sprint will increase the character’s ATK by 20% for five seconds.
Abyss Herald Boss
As of right now, this new boss isn’t confirmed to be a weekly boss, this is only able to be fought once darning the next main story quest. Its also rumoured that will finally be learning and unravelling more about the Abyss.
We could find out so much more about where Lumine/Ather is and what they have been doing, what the Fatui lies in all of this.
I know many like myself can’t wait to beat Signora and put her in her place for what she has done to so many of our favourite characters, and this can put us one step forward.
Danslief Main Story Quest
We get more of the mysterious man who is piecing together our memories, unknown to what the quest could entail, we look forward to seeing what they have done with our siblings and how much more can our traveller take on.
Windblume Festival
Similar to the Lantern Rite Festival for Adeptus Xiao, and Liyue, we will also be having the Windblume Festival for our Favorite Archon Venti. This festival is mentioned to be the festival of Wine and Love, so don’t forget to send your favourites some flowers.
Hangout Event
This is MiHoYo’s way of feeding all of the players their dating simulator needs, wanting to learn more about each of the characters and wanting to see them outside of their usual idle locations these hideout events can bring tons of amazing rewards and lots of character lore.
Oceanid Event
An event for those like myself who missed the Seelie Treasure Event and didn’t get the pet has around two to try and get a little companion. This event will have your nature a little Oceanid boss creature, and eventually once upon completion of the week-long event, we will be able to keep it.
Overall 1.4 Optimizations
- Can now hold up to 5 condensed Resin
- Recipes that have been auto-cooked unlocked can now also be cooked manually
- General Cooking optimizations and bug fixes
- World Level can now be manually lowered by 1 for cooping
- Multiple name-cards can be shown on ones profile
- Spiral Abyss interface is optimized.
