Once you’re done with the story, Counterplay Games have spoken about how the Godfall Endgame will work and what you can expect from it. Godfall is due to release on PlayStation 5 and Epic Games Store on 12 November.
Godfall is Counterplay Games’ take on a fantasy-inspired “looter-slasher” that simply looks stunning. Recently, Counterplay Games released a gameplay trailer which shows off the games’ 4k performance. Check that out below:
In relation to the Godfall endgame content though, Technical Producer Dick Heyne had a few things to say during a recent interview…
Godfall Endgame Features The Tower Of Trials
According to Heyne, after players are done with the main story… The Tower of Trials will become available. Sounds intense, right? This will feature rogue-like gameplay, perfect for numerous replays and grinding. Much like the rest of Godfall, it’ll be available in Single Player or Co-Op.
The Tower of Trials will feature a number of combat trials with progressive difficulty and a number of unique rewards. As you progress through The Tower, you’ll get keys which unlock floors within the Monolith. Each one will take you closer to it’s centre, however, once you leave… Your progress would be reset.
Each doorway will offer a different type of reward, though. So, picking your route through the Monolith might be as important as actually finishing a level. On top of all this, it’s been confirmed that Godfall can be played in Single Player without a PS Plus membership. Although, it is being geared towards an Online Co-Op focus… Still, playing alone means that all the Tower of Trials loot is yours alone!
