GOG, a digital distributor of video games, has launched their spring sale, lasting until April 5 at 6 AM PST. GOG, the owner of CD Projekt Red, also has games by the developer on sale, including their latest release, Cyberpunk 2077.
GOG, keeping in line with CD Projekt Red’s “you buy it, you own it” philosophy on video games, does not use digital rights management, or DRM, meaning you won’t need to activate the game or have an online connection in order to play them.
The Witcher 3 Game of the Year Edition is on sale for 80% off, and Cyberpunk 2077 is listed with a 20% off the price tag. Other Witcher games and DLC are on sale between 75%-85% off, as well.
Other notable games that are on sale include Batman: Arkham Knight Premium Edition for 75% off, The Outer World for 50% off, Divinity Original Sin 2 – Definitive Edition for 60% off, XCOM 2 for 92% off, Mad Max for 75% off, and Deus Ex games for up to 86% off.
GOG has been nice enough to categorize game collections to help you navigate their vast list of spring sale, such are RPG, Strategy, and even a section for high discounts for over 90% off.
There are at least 3,000 games listed as part of the GOG spring sale, so we can’t list them all here. We recommend visiting their website and combing through their inventory to see if anything catches your eye.
There is also a “Soon to Bloom” collection, which lists plenty of demos for new and upcoming games. Be sure to check them out if you’re a fan of indie games.
