The developers, 343 Industries, stated that “it was a difficult decision to shift our release to 2021”
In brief, they stated that “it was due to multiple factors that all created extra challenges with the development, including the Covid-19 restrictions and impacts”
They went on to say their “staff have worked very hard and stayed committed to finding solutions to the development challenges”.
Delayed Until Fall 2021
More shock news for Halo Infinite came on December 8th 2021, delaying the release until Fall of 2021!
On Twitter, Halo developers released a beautiful looking image from the new game, as well as a closer look at the Halo Infinite development. See it here at Inside Infinite
They also shared their new launch window of Fall 2021, meaning it would be just under another year before the release!
Vague Twitter Comments of Delay
Schreier’s reply of “idk about that”, is gaining comments and retweets that are sure to have gamers doubting the release date of fall 2021.
Jason Schreier, a video game reporter for Bloomberg, stirred up a Halo nest again on March 19th, when he replied to a Twitter post from someone that said “we’re still getting Halo and starfield this year”
Gamers are seeing things from both sides. Many thinking that a delay is possible and this is a serious comment, and others think Schreier’s “IDK about that” reply is only relating to Starlink and not Halo Infinite.
One thing that we do know when the game is released, is that it will be a beautiful looking game that the developers truly believe the fans will love and enjoy.
