Ahead of its’ launch, IO Interactive have released the Hitman 3 launch trailer to the world. It’s a glimpse into the dangerous future of Agent 47. Check it out below…
After a little hiccup regarding re-appearing Hitman 2 maps, the hype surrounding Agent 47’s third (rebooted) outing is continuing. This is, in a small part, thanks to the beautiful Hitman 3 Launch Trailer that’s been shared by IO Interactive ahead of their launch.
Below, you can check out nearly three minutes of cinematic hitman-ing and gain an insight into what’s in store…
Hitman 3 is the eighth instalment in the Hitman franchise and the third, and final, instalment in the World of Assassination trilogy. With this entry being ” a lot more mature, serious and darker”, according to IO Interactive, it’s safe to say the Hitman 3 launch trailer above lives up to that claim.
Hitman 3 will feature six new locations: Dubai, Dartmoor, Berlin, Chongqing, Mendoza, and an epilogue set in Romania. That’s not all though as owners of Hitman and Hitman 2 will be able to import maps and progress to the newer title. This should give it more than enough content to keep you playing, and killing, for hours upon end! You’ll also be pleased to know that it also has PlayStation VR support on the PlayStation 4 version of the title… Assassinations never felt so real, right?
Hitman 3 will be released on the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Stadia via streaming. It’s also being ported to Nintendo Switch consoles via the cloud and marks the first time Agent 47 has appeared on a Nintendo platform since 2003.
Are you going to be getting Hitman 3? What’s your take on the “serious” take?
