How Much Does a Used Nintendo Switch Sell For? (By Usage)

Updated:

If you’ve had your fair share of gaming on the Nintendo Switch and thinking of selling make sure not to sell it for too cheap. Depending on your usage, here’s how much you can sell for used models of Nintendo Switch.

Obviously, the price will depend on the condition of your device so don’t try to sell it for too high if you have a scratched screen. The prices are for stock console editions and are based on the listings on eBay.com and Facebook Marketplace.

Nintendo Switch

Nintendo Switch

The original Switch is quite a popular and affordable console right off the bat for only $299 for the brand new. Because of that, you will not necessarily sell it too close to the retail price.

However, since you are selling the whole set (assumingly) including the dock, charger, and maybe even accessories you can get a bit more comfortable with setting the price as eBay is filled with listings selling only screens of the console.

The recently released Nintendo Switch OLED is an upgraded version of the regular Switch. It features a bigger and more vibrant OLED screen with perfect white and black colors.

Because the value comes from the screen itself, you may sell your Nintendo Switch OLED for a good price as long as the screen is intact.

Finally, the little one of them all is Nintendo Switch Lite. As a matter of fact, Lite is one of the most popular versions because it’s a great handheld console made for traveling. It is a bit crippled compared to the full version but it’s also why the retail price on it is $100 less.
