Carving Pumpkins in Sims 4 is possible with the Spooky Stuff DLC.

In order to carve pumpkins, you’ll need to own the ‘Spooky Stuff’ DLC for the Sims 4. Once you do, you will have access to a carving station. This is where your sim will be able to carve out all their masterpieces.

The carving stations requires §25 (25 Simoleons) per pumpkin. It is also worth noting that your sim can sometimes carve a “Dud” pumpkin, so be aware that it won’t always be a masterpiece!

When using the carving station, you need to keep some key information in mind. The type of pumpkin they can carve will depend on their handiness level or if they are a child, as well as their motor skill.

Here is a breakdown of the type of pumpkins and what skill level your Sim will need to be at to carve them:

If you don’t want to go with the luck of the draw approach to carving pumpkins as you might receive Duds (and your Simoleons are very precious to you). There is an alternate way to obtain them in the game.

You can access them directly in your buy debug catalog using cheats, similar to how we edit a Sim. To do this, follow the instructions below.

  1. Hit CTRL + SHIFT + C on your keyboard.
  2. Type bb.showhiddenobjects in the cheat box.
  3. Navigate to the Spooky Stuff in your build catalogue
  4. Access all of the different the carved pumpkins.

Now you know how to carve pumpkins in Sims 4. Remember to make your next Sims 4 Halloween a spooky but fun one with your quirky carved pumpkins!
