If you found yourself on flames while playing Warzone you should either get some rest or you might be getting shot at with fire bullets. Fire bullets, you may also know them as incendiary rounds, is a type of ammo that became quite common in Call of Duty. And if you don’t yet have them, we are about to tell you how to get fire bullets in Warzone.

What are Fire Bullets in Warzone?

First of all, why are we calling them fire bullets rather than incendiary rounds which is more of a military way to call them? That’s because there are actually a few kinds of fire bullets in Warzone under different names. There are Incendiary Rounds and Dragon’s Breath rounds and we will cover both.

Fire bullets, no matter the kind, are an attachment for your gun that you unlock by leveling up the weapon. The level required can vary depending on the weapon. For the most part, it’s past level 30 so it will take some playtime to unlock it unless you have already grinded for some time.

Incendiary Rounds

In Call of Duty: Vanguard fire bullets are called Incendiary Rounds and in Warzone, those are exclusive to Vanguard guns. These rounds and other ammo customization options can be found in the Ammunition attachment in the Gunsmith.

Currently, Incendiary Rounds are available on almost every weapon from Call of Duty: Vanguard, except for stuff like knives of course. And with new weapons arriving in the upcoming seasons, you can expect them to have Incendiary Rounds too.

If you are not sure what weapon to use, here are some of the best Call of Duty: Vanguard guns with Incendiary Rounds:

  • Cooper Carbine
  • STG-44
  • Automation
  • BAR
  • MP-40

Dragon’s Breath

The other kind of fire bullet is Dragon’s Breath Rounds. Those are exclusive to the guns from Modern Warfare and Cold War. And these rounds are available mostly on shotguns and nothing else.

There’s also an attachment called Dragon’s Breath 6-R Magazine. Unlike Dragon’s Breath Rounds, the 6-R mags bring a whole lot to the weapon. It is not compatible with custom barrels but offers a tighter pellet spread, detachable mag, incendiary damage, and faster aim down sight speed at the cost of movement speed and damage range.

Dragon’s Breath attachments can be found in the Magazine attachment option in the Gunsmith. These are all the weapons from Modern Warfare that can equip Dragon’s Breath rounds and/or Dragon’s Breath 6-R Mags:

  • Model 680
  • R9-0 Shotgun
  • VLK Rogue
  • JAK-12

These are all the weapons from Black Ops: Cold War that can equip Dragon’s Breath rounds:

  • Marshal

Quickest Way to Unlock Fire Bullets

Now that you know what weapons have fire bullets and chose the one you want to unlock them for, it’s time to get gaming. As we mentioned, the only way to get fire bullets on weapons in Warzone is by using them and leveling them up. Even though all you have to do is use them, here are the most optimal ways to unlock fire bullets for the desired weapon.

Play Multiplayer

The fastest way to level up your gun and unlock all the attachments, including fire bullets, is by playing the actual Call of Duty Multiplayer if you own those games. Depending on which game the weapon is from you can hop right in and play only with a selected weapon to quickly level it up.

Look for any close quarter blitz playlists like Shipment 24/7 in Vanguard as there you will constantly be getting kills even if that means dying every five seconds. Hardcore game modes are also a good option if you are confident in your shooting skills. In hardcore, it’s enough to put one bullet from an assault rifle into the opponent’s head to kill them.

Play Rotating Game Modes (Plunder, Clash)

But obviously, you may not own any of the Call of Duty games. Or maybe you own only Cold War that has only one weapon with fire bullets. In this case, there are a few good ways of leveling your weapon in Warzone only.

Plunder (aka Blood Money), Clash, and a few others are on the list of rotating game modes in Warzone. Those can be found in the main menu where all the other modes like Battle Royale and limited-time game modes are. Rotating game modes means you won’t see all of them available at the same time. For some time it will be Plunder, then it will change to Clash, and so on.

These modes are perfect for leveling up guns as you get to play with your loadout from the very beginning. And you get unlimited respawns! Just make sure that the loadout is configured and marked as favorite as it will be the one the game will equip for you. Hop into the game and get as many kills as you can with a weapon to get fire bullets.

Play Warzone BR and Look for Loadout Drops

Finally, if for some reason you prefer playing Battle Royale you can use Loadout Drops. Those are crates that drop or can be called in during the Warzone match and are key to playing Warzone in general. These drops allow you to equip any of your premade loadouts with all the weapons, perks, and attachments. So if you have a gun you need to level up, this is a way you can do it while playing Warzone only.

Prepare the loadout in the menu and jump into the game. The first wave of the Loadout Drops is only a few minutes into the game, you just have to get lucky for it to be close but be ready for contestants. Or, for $10,000 you can call in your own Loadout Drop from the Buying Station.
