How to Get Gauss in Warframe

Published:
The Gauss Warframe

Gauss is a much-desired warframe, valued for his speed and elemental attacks. You can get Gauss in two ways. The fastest way to get Gauss in Warframe is to purchase it from the Market using Platinum. If you don’t want to spend money to unlock Gauss, you’ll have to farm his three components through normal gameplay.

We’ll cover exactly how to carry out both of these methods down below.

Buying Gauss in the Market (Paid Method)

If you don’t mind spending real money, you can purchase Gauss with Warframe’s premium currency, Platinum. Gauss costs 325 Platinum to unlock. The cheapest way to get 325 Platinum is by buying the 370 Platinum pack for $19.99.

Once you’ve bought the pack through the market or on your platform’s dedicated store, you can head over to Gauss’ page in the market to unlock him.

If you don’t want to spend money to unlock Gauss, you’ll have to craft him using three blueprints and a variety of materials.

Farming for Blueprints

Before you can craft Gauss, you’ll have to find blueprints for his three components. You can do this in the Kelpie Disruption mission, on the planet Sedna. To do this, repeatedly play the mission while protecting as many conduits as possible.

To get a chance at receiving a Gauss blueprint, you’ll have to unlock the mission’s C-tier loot drops. You can do this by successfully defending 4 conduits during round 3, or 3 conduits during round 4 and beyond.

While these conduit requirements are met, items dropped from enemies have a 21% chance of being one of the three Gauss blueprints.

Once you’ve farmed Gauss’ Neuroptics, Chassis, and Systems blueprints, you’re ready to move on to crafting him.

You have to start collecting the materials you’ll need to craft Gauss in the Foundry. Each blueprint requires many different items to craft.

To craft the Gauss Neuroptics Blueprint, you’ll need:

  • 15,000 Credits
  • 1 Argon Crystal
  • 1,600 Rubedo
  • 6,200 Salvage
  • 2,950 Alloy Plate

To craft the Gauss Chassis Blueprint, you’ll need:

  • 15,000 Credits
  • 3 Radiant Sentirum
  • 3 Heart Nyth
  • 6 Star Crimzian
  • 55 Grokdrul

To craft the Gauss Systems Blueprint, you’ll need:

  • 15,000 Credits
  • 3 Radiant Zodian
  • 3 Marquise Thyst
  • 70 Mytocardia Spore
  • 85 Thermal Sludge

While most of these items are easily found, some may prove difficult. The hardest of them to find are Radiant Sentirum and Radiant Zodian, which require you to reach Rank 4 in the Ostron and Solaris United syndicates respectively to craft them.

Once you have the materials together, you can begin crafting the Gauss components. With all three completed, you can use them to finally manufacture the Gauss warframe.

If you are planning on unlocking more warframes, you will need lots of Credits and materials. Here are guides to maximize your grinding time:
